The Sickle Cell Sanctuary, Holistic Healing for a Better Tomorrow, is celebrating its first anniversary as the nation’s first and only holistic care center dedicated to people living with sickle cell disease. Operated by the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. (SCFG), the Sanctuary has served nearly 300 clients with more than 450 service visits since opening. The center provides integrative services including hematology care, mental health support, nutritional counseling, IV therapy, yoga, Pilates, massage, and more — all in a spa-like setting.
The facility is open to all, regardless of diagnosis or health status. “This milestone reflects our mission to create a safe, healing space where wellness is accessible and dignity is restored,” said Tabatha McGee, Executive Director of SCFG.. As it enters its second year, the Sickle Cell Sanctuary remains committed to healing, empowerment, and expanding access to wellness care for underserved communities.
This free first anniversary celebration is open to the public. Guests are encouraged to pre-register here.
